Gîte Sicard is easily found in the heart of the friendly French village of Sos, in the south west corner of Lot-et-Garonne where it meets The Gers to the south and Les Landes to the west. It has all the amenities you will need during your stay, including a restaurant, a pharmacy and a local shop with fresh bread and cakes every morning.  There are also tennis courts and a children’s play area.

Sos in the Summer

During the summer months the square outside your window is host to a bustling night market every Wednesday featuring local food and drink producers, plus live music.

Peaceful Outdoor Activities

There is fantastic walking and cycling on your doorstep in the forest of Les Landes and the rolling hills around Sos. Historic villages such as Fources and Larresingle and award winning local markets make sure there is always something to do.  Or why not just sit out, soaking up the sun, with a glass of wine from one of the local vineyards?  We’re happy to help with wine tastings and restaurant recommendations.

For the Adventurers

For the more active, there are water parks, swimming pools and two golf courses close by (Albret Golf and Golf de Guinlet are both about 25 mins away), as well as bike and canoe hire. For those equestrian-minded, horse riding is available 10 minutes away in Poudenas.
